Digitalisation and technology are the main drivers behind transitions within the energy, mobility and circularity sectors. These transitions converge in the city. Municipalities are working on ways to get a grip on new opportunities and threats that arise from these developments. With the help of local partnerships, innovations have been developed that lack one thing: the power to scale. This calls for action at a national level.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has commissioned the Dutch Smart Cities ecosystem to develop a proposal that could act as a tipping point in discussions about scaling and operationalization.
Wanted: input from innovators from start-ups and scale-ups
Innovators, start-ups and scale-ups need a concrete future lookout as well as a robust policy. Your insights, bottlenecks, learnings and successes are very valuable to us. During the sessions we identify them and jointly cocreate a couple of solution strategies.
Join the dialoque with Kathalijne Buitenweg and Pieter Paul van Oerle
A panel discussion between Kathalijne Buitenweg (Chair of the Temporary House of Representatives Committee on the Digital Future) and Pieter Paul van Oerle (Director of Strategy at The Next Web) is integrated in the session. Henk de Jong (CEO PBLQ) will act as the facilitator and moderator.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The agency stimulates entrepreneurs in sustainable, innovative and international business.
